HP Printer not working under W10S

A friend just got upgraded?? from Window 10 to W10S. I don't know how or why this happened. Anyway, his HP Office Jet Pro 6968 does not work anymore. Is this printer 10S compatible?

I was thinking that perhaps using Services.Msc to change Function Discovery Resource Publication and Fucntion Discovery Provider Host to 'Automatic(Delayed Start) to see if that would fix the problem. I had to do this on my machine when it went from 1703 to 1809 with my HP printer.

I don't know yet if he has a Windows Old Folder. I he does then I will use it to revert to plain old Windows 10.

I will appreciate your thoughts on this problem.

drivers for S mode have different requirements. may have to reinstall drivers (from .inf file)

Or switch back to normal mode:
