Whats the best way to deal with bad sectors in hard drive?

My hard drive used to have a bit of freeze on opening some of the files so I decided to run a chkdsk /f via CMD. That converted my disc to dynamic somehow and it wouldnt even let me boot to windows. Anyway after installing EaseUS partition master I was able to turn my hard drive back to basic and be able to boot to windows with it.
However now the problem is I can not back it up or even open some of the files without a huge freeze. I am now doing bad sector check up on it via EaseUS partition again but the remaining time has stuck on 695 hours or apx a full month for it to finish working. I was hoping if there is a better way to deal with this and be able to keep my data?Whats the best way to deal with bad sectors in hard drive?-0.jpg

According to that attachment, there are no bad sectors.

I would run the respective HDD diagnostic tool for you HDD and not some 3rd party software.

    For seagate......https://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/

For WD .......Software and Firmware Downloads | WD Support

According to the attachment, it has barely began its operation so I wouldnt reach that conclusion yet!

True...I didn't read far enough. Just do a simple google search for Toshiba's HDD tool

My suggestion was to use the manufacturer's diagnostic tool. In this case, Toshiba's tool as these tools are designed for their respective HDD's which might lead to a lesser search time then your 409 plus hours. But hey, it's up to you.

If you have not already done so, backup your data on the drive ASAP. You may have only a limited opportunity to do so. Always be sure you have a backup whenever there is even a suspicion of a drive problem. Actually backups should be made when the drive has no issues as they can die at any time, often without warning or apparent cause.

Considering the symptoms I would replace the drive. I wouldn't spend any more time on it.

Yep, replace a bad drive. There's no hope to fix it, and it's cheap to replace.
Get your data off of it.

    And scrap the old dog.
Or open it up and get yourself some nice, powerful magnets.
And a shiny coffee coaster or two.

Well its not the HD im worried about at all. Its the data. Sadly I can not back up the data. the transfer simply freezes and gets stuck at 0 transfer speed. Any suggestion on how to rescue the data at this point?
