    Nisko,

In the first instance, please go to the Devices and printers section and post a screenshot of what is shown there. Once that has been resolved there will be a solid basis for advising you about whatever it is that your pdf file is showing.

Wish I could. However, the drop-down disappears as soon as I open the Snagit Capture.
Use the snipping tool that's native to windows 10. Or use the print screen; hold the windows key and press the print screen key. Then look in your pictures folder/sub folder named screenshots.

Yes, I am looking in that place: "Devices and Printers." There is only one icon for my printer - there are a number of sub-entries in the drop-down list (like "Original 1"). I want to get rid of them. Perhaps it has something to do with extra drivers - but I don't know.

Here is a screenshot that shows what I'm looking at:

When an unwanted one is highlighted, can you hit delete? If that doesn't work, then it would be registry entries.

For my win10 installation, I don't get a dropdown. All are listed, and there is an option to delete when right clicking on them. Is this win10?

@Nisko, You went a bit further than the page we needed you to be at. That is the properties page for the printer and the list in your screenshot are the drivers for your printer. There's really no need to delete any of the drivers unless they are old or defective to begin with. Is the printer giving you trouble?

I don't know which I should choose when picking a printer to use. Perhaps I'm better off just deleting the printer - then reinstalling it. What do you think?
