    Where can I find the specific driver I want to restore internet speed?

    We have 2 laptops with the same specifications as shown in my profile (Dell Inspiron).

    We recently had an issue with very slow internet, and having had the problem before I was able to fix it on one laptop by changing a setting on the Dell Wireless network adapter Properties: on the Advanced tab I changed the bandwidth from 20 only to 20/40 auto (see screenshot below). My download speed improved tenfold.

    However, the second laptop had a new hard drive installed a few weeks ago and an different driver was automatically installed for the network adapter. This driver does not have an option to change the bandwidth.

    I would like to replace the driver on the second laptop so I can make this change, as it seems to be the solution to the problem. The driver I need is: Qualcomm Atheros Communications Inc. Version 10.0.0.321 Issued 16/06/2015.

    Is there somewhere that I can safely download this driver from? Dell does not seem to offer it on their site.

    Alternatively, can anyone suggest an alternative solution?

    I'm not sure what country's version you need.

    I looked here: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/...5-3521/drivers

    To see the WLAN driver, scroll down and click the "view more" button. The version number is 10.0.0.321.

    hank you for this but...

    Maybe I am having a bad day? I followed your link and there are 3 network drivers listed but none of them are Version 10.0.0.321

    The closest is Version 10.0.0.0,A00 from 31st July 2015; the others have very different version numbers.

    It's a bit worrying that what speeds it up is widenings the band to the wrong size it suggest you either have the wrong location set as channel vary from country to country or you have other routers close on same channel

    @SaggyMaggyPoo

    Looks like they are in the MS catalog, if I'm reading this correctly, still on first coffee....,.

    I don't get Dell's naming convention, but I went so far as to download and extract the archive. There's a PDF in it that states that it's 10.0.0.321. I hope that's correct.

    Unfortunately I don't know how to check if the location is wrong, but the change works. And this is Greece - after 10 years I still fail t understand how they do many things here .
