Printer question

Currently running a Canon Pixma m925. We like it because it has AirPrint and up until today has worked well. But now it spits an error b200 code which seems to be print head related. I guess it’s clogged but we tried cleaning it and still get the issue. I am mulling over ordering a new print head but they are about £80 and it’s a bit of a punt as cannot be certain that will fix the issue. Ordering the same printer again is not really feasible as it’s an older model and whilst we can pick one up they are very pricey pushing near £200

so we are possibly in the market for a new printer. But we want one that is Wi-fi and plug and play with regards windows 10. So no need to install the bloated disc that comes with it just to get the driver or have to surf the net to download the driver. It needs to be capable of printing to photo sized paper, scan/copy and probably most importantly support Apple AirPrint technology for convenience of printing from our mobile devices and our Mac. Are there any recommendations to a printer that is plug and play with windows 10 that supports those functions? Hopefully one that doesn’t break the bank.

I've been in your shoes one day buying the best and the most expensive printers hoping they serve me well , only to realize that it became a global trend to make newly produced units mandatory replaceable within 3 years tops weather they are their flagships or their economicals , they do it simply by stop providing spare parts / inks / drivers / support etc where even if the hardware works , is still crippled by lack / rarity of consumables . so no one can actually recommend you something with the hope its long lasting . But then the only advice i can give is to go cheap since you'll be buying every now and then and to go HP , because they clone it in china so even after HP themselves start legacying it out , copy / cloned components would still be available for an additional couple of years giving you time extension for your money value .

14000 pages per refill . Woo love that , sadly is still not available in my region , would have to wait .
You think the hardware would survive the print out of 14000 page ? it still looks like a cheap plastic desk jet that'd melt at the print of a 100 pages .

Unless you need a high quality photo printer, I would just buy the cheapest inkjet printer with the features you need on offer from Canon / Epson / HP. I've bought some good offers in the past from Tesco for c. £30.

If you don't need colour, Brother do a good range of laser printer / scanners which are faster and cheaper to run with full duplex printing from £70.

I agree with CountMike here. Modern laser printers yield a very nice printout quality and nowadays are pretty affordable. I still have got an ancient Laserjet 1200 which works just fine albeit being pretty slow (almost 20 years old).
