Weird issue with headset cutting out.

Since upgrading to 1803. I find sometimes my HyperX Cloud Alpha headset sound and mic will cut out on me. Since this headset isn't a USB connected device. They're are no drivers for them. I don't see anything under device manager. They are connected to my front plugs on my case. I have to physically unplug and re plug them in to work. Any suggestions on solving this. Could it be a sound driver issue? Thanks.

Right-click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen, select "Sounds", "Playback", double-click "Headphones", click "Advanced" and see if "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" is checked. If so, uncheck it, click "OK", then "OK" again.

Would it be beneficial to update my sound drivers to the latest realtek drivers?

You could try updating the drivers for your hardware. You should be able to roll them back if something goes wrong. Also, it would be nice to know if my suggestion helped.

It would be beneficial to try a full range of drivers for your hardware to see which one works best.
