Just do not do anything now. Answer the queries.

    1. In the second screen was [Intel] highlighted or was [EFI GPT] highlighted? Answer.

If [Intel ] was highlighted that means that TestDisk also finds it to be an MBR disk

    2. In the screen you posted did you change the EFI System partition from D to P? Answer yes/no

Note: You can at anytime close TestDisk by clicking on the X at the top right of the Title bar. You can rerun it from the beginning. But at no time give the [ Write] command unless I ask you to do so.

Can you please rerun TestDisk and show me the second screen? After that go further and post the last screen you posted in your post#39.

Hi, you are confusing me by running ahead. At 72 I can't catch up .

First screen Highlight [No log ] Enter
Second screen Highlight your faulty drive. [Proceed] is already highlighted Press Enter
Show me the third screen as it appears. I want to confirm that no partition type is selected.

No partition type is selected, Intel just happens to be the first selection:-

    Answer above as requested.

By default, TestDisk selects what it thinks is the correct Partition Type. Only if we know for sure that the selected partition type is not correct, we should change it to the correct partition type as we know. In this case it shows Intel and we are not sure that it is [EFI GPT] and so I would leave it at Intel. Do not change it to [EFI GPT]

Now go ahead as it is and [Analyse] Enter ( fourth Screen), next screen [Quick Search] Enter (fifth screen). Post the sixth screen that appears after Quick Search. Do not change anything in that screen. Post it as it appears.

It's going to take some time, Quick Search didn't work, it's doing a 'Deep Scan', it's on 95%
