    Safely Remove not working properly

Since the 1803 update, Safely Remove is wonky. ASfter ejecting drive, I no longer get the 'Save to remove' popup. This ion my desktop pc. On my laptop, which has the same update installed, I do get the popup. Can I get the popup back on the desktop machine?

See this Microsoft Answers thread for a possible solution, which involves turning the notification message back on. USB Safe to remove Notification missing - Microsoft Community

Thank you, that was exactly it. I now get the 'Safe to remove notification.

Something is still not the same. Before the update, when clicking on the Safely Remove Hardware icon, I used to see all connected peripherals (printer, scanner, headphones, external speakers, drives, memory sticks. The only thing that shows anymore are drives. No printer, no headphones, no speakers show up when I click on the 'Safely Remove' icon.

EDIT: Please disregard the above concern. The Device Manager under the Safely Remove Hardware icon is back.
