Cannot Format New Drive

I've decided to do one of two things. I'll either put the new drive in the laptop and the existing drive in the docking station, as Acronis instructs, or I'll put the new drive in the laptop, install a clean version of Windows 10 Pro x64 from the ISO DVD I have and then use an existing Acronis backup stored on my secondary internal drive or the one stored on my external drive, although I don't know whether or not an existing backup created from my existing drive will work on a new drive.

All these things you say don't apply to Macrium, I placed my new RAW SSD 512GB in SATA to USB 3.0 adapter cloned my old smaller 256GB SSD at the completion of the clone I shut down my computers and removed the old SSD and Installed the new SSD and booted up with no issues Macrium actually just works even there free version work just a well for Clone or Image. The End I won't bother you any longer

Thanks again, Clintlgm. I really appreciate your advice. You're not bothering me and I welcome any reply you wish to make. I'm seriously looking at Macrium Reflect. This will be the last edition of Acronis I purchase because as I've state previously, I've had major problems with every edition of Acronis TI that I have used.
