New random drive that keeps warning low on space

    Hi.

Since a few days ago a new drive arrived with ~450mb space. I googled about it, and it seems harmless. But it keeps coming with a low on space warning (it has 42,7mb free).

    I tried this: https://support.microsoft.com/da-dk/...-space-warning

And I tried to remove the letter (D:) in Disk Mangagement, but the only option when rightclicking the partition was "Help".

Does someone have a solution so I can get rid of that annoying warning?

Hello Nilsson, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

If you like, you might see if one of the other options in the tutorial below may be able to remove the drive letter.

Great, thanks! This removed the harddrive from "This PC". So now the warning should stop, right?

    Welcome to TenForums @Nilsson

At 450mb that was almost certainly a recovery partition, and I'm guessing that 'a few days ago' you got the update to 1803.

Sometimes (for no obvious reason) the upgrade process assigns a drive letter to these normally hidden partitions. They shouldn't have one, and the correct solution is to remove the drive letter as you have now done. You should mark this thread 'Solved' now to help others find this solution.

No warning has come up, so thank you so much for the quick reply.
I have marked it as solved.
