    Weird.
If the machine is running 1703, why did an update for 1709 (and a Flash update) succeed?
Yep, in the screen shot from post #6. Update to 1709 failed in May, 2018. FYI, In order to update to 1803, it must first update from1703->1709. The latest update for 1709 is 1709 build 402, you are still on 309

I'm not having much luck. There is no 'volume' selection when I rclick and select properties.
Then when I run the downloaded utility there is no disk 7
Apparently from disk management your C drive shown as disk2 and your 5TB shown as Drive 6. From Partition Manager it re-number to 1 and 2. That's fine.

Did you right click as shown below ? From disk management, not the properties from the drive.

I right clicked on the drive repsentation to the right rather than the area you point out. So, below is a capture of what you did want:

Based on all the screen shots. Disk Management, Disk Properties and Partition Wizard: The used and unused space are consistent. Your disk is configured as GPT disk correctly.
Apparently, you did create a pool in the past. Here's my screen shot of Storage spaces:

Follow this link to remove this disk from the pool:

The correct way to find out the usage of each disk in your PC is: Settings->System->Storage:

It appears you are telling me to remove a disk. But I'm assuming you are telling me that "IF" I need to remove the disk, no? If you are telling me to remove a disk, I'm not sure why.

But my main concern is addressed...whether or not my storage space is full.

I probably will open another thread on the failures to update.

I appreciate all of the help.

No, I am telling to remove the disk from the pool which you created. Creating storage pool is when you want to combine multiple small capacity disks into a pool then Windows will see it as one single disk.
