Need Graphic Drivers for windows 10. Any body know where to find them ?

That's a very old laptop, I don't think Intel is going be releasing new graphics drivers for that chipset.

You best bet in through Windows Update, if not then you graphics card is not supported for Windows 10.

I think I'll Keep Windows 7 on it. I did have windows 10 preview an older build running on it OK They my have changed the Graphic Version.

I wouldn't totally give up maybe there's someone else on this forum who knows better or got drivers to work with Intel Gen1 CPU's on Windows 10.

Do you know if your graphics is onboard or discrete/dedicated?

It uses onboard Intel HD graphics (P6100 CPU). Intel's naming scheme makes it hard to identify the right drivers. Does their automated utility help you at all? (Supposes that Win 10 will install in the first place.)

Did a new install. The graphic Drivers were in stalled. May have been a bad in stall

New install will not activate now. Will wait a few days to see if it will

The free upgrade has to be installed for the first time as an upgrade over an activated copy of a qualifying OS (7 SP1, 8.1). I believe that you also have to "keep everything". That upgrade should activate. You won't receive a new Win 10 key. You won't need one.

Having done that once, you can clean install on the same hardware, and 10 will activate online.

The lacking drivers that get installed during Windows 10 upgrade do not support G72's Switchable Graphics feature. HDMI no longer works. As recommended on forums - to fix HDMI you can download AMD_UnifL/Catalyst_16.2.1_UnifL_v1.0.exe drivers like I did. HDMI now works.
