Hard drive doesn't boot or show up in bios after Windows update!
This is my first post in the forums so I hope I'm posting in the correct section!
Went to work today and shut my computer down and it had some updates well when I come home my computer was on a blank screen so I rebooted it and it came up with the bios but it was unusually slow and when I went under the bios settings it said it has been reset to default, when I checked my drives my main drive was showing up blank with no name on the drive so I shutdown and unplugged all my extra drives and tried to plug the drive into another sata cable just to see if I could atleast get it to show up, no avail! So I took the drive out and put it in another Pc and now the drive is showing up at not initialized, click the ok button and I'm presented with an error message, the file cannot find the file specified, the drive is showing no storage space as well I've tried minitool partion wizard and it doesn't show there or in the program easeus data recovery is this drive shot? Ive been trying for over 2 hours to figure out something, I had well over 100gbs of data on the drive and am at a loss because I have no idea what all was on the drive, just recently went through a hard drive crash and lost well over 400gbs of data hate to lose more! Any help is appreciated
