How do I get rid of disk space warning popup

Since my computer upgraded last night to the new edition of Windows, I am getting a constant pop up that says I have low disk space on local drive I. There is no flash drive plugged in, thus nothing in that drive. How can I get rid of that warning?

    Thanks so much

    Welcome to tenforums @moffettleslie

Sometimes a hidden recovery partition or boot partition gets assigned a drive letter during the upgrade. It's not clear why, but the solution is simple. Remove the drive letter so that it is hidden (as it should be).

This thread had the same problem. Have a look at their screenshot of Disk Management and you'll see what I mean.

Compare that to your own Disk Management, then remove the unwanted drive letter.

Thanks for answering. The instructions on that thread seem to be way over my head. Is there any way to simplify them? I'm not a beginner, but I really cannot understand what to do.

    Thanks

The one you'll need to use is Option Two in that tutorial, the one using Diskpart. The instructions for that option are fairly easy to follow, but do get back to us if you have any questions.
