    Hey folks.
Can you disable the Intel graphics in Device Manager? I'm wondering if the problem might be a conflict with the CPU graphics. Unfortunately that would mean a bum CPU.

TV, he could disable it, but the Intel graphics is not in Device Manager. Nothing but his Graphics card. To the best of my knowledge, all modern motherboards automatically disable On CPU graphics when they detect an X16 card installed.

I guess it could possibly be a conflict between the two. It shouldn't be. Maybe see if he could disable it in bios.

Yes, just a thought. When things start to get strange like this is when you have to start considering the strange!

It sounds like the processor is the only component he hasn't replaced. But I vote for the power supply also if that hasn't been replaced. Most likely suspect.

That would be my best guess unless you choose to believe he is unlucky enough to get 2 defective motherboards in a row. It does happen, but the odds are somewhere way up there. I did get 3 in a row once though.
