Ryan, clearing CMOS is not a bad idea. It would seem that some info in there is wrong, so lets get rid of it and start over.
I am also thinking that the CMOS Battery may be bad. If you can reboot with no problems means that the bios is remembering the data, but the power is never completely removed for any amount of time on a reboot. When you shut down and remove the power is when you have the problems. That is not a diagnosis just really 'thinking out loud'.
That was something I forgot to mention.... I had tried multiple new batteries and clearing the cmos at least 20 times.
I'd just shut down and although slow it booted to Windows so I'm thinking I didn't leave it long enough. I'll shut down again and take the dog for a quick walk and try again. It's a right head scratcher
No change chaps.. start up, post and hang on enter bios screen, shut down and remove gpu, boot with on board graphics and shut down. Install gpu and then it boots fine.
