Mouse stutters randomly.

my mouse stutters at random times.ive tried updating drivers and uninstalling and reinstalling drivers .the only way i can make it happen on cue is if i open task scheduler and double click a task and go to triggers tab and select edit and if you try to move the mouse right after clicking edit it will stutter.it does that on my other computer and laptop to so i was wondering is it more likely a windows problem and not a problem i can fix?

been about a year.also when it does do it nothing else is affected only the mouse

are you using a PS2 style mouse or a USB mouse?

if the mouse is connected to a USB port, connect it only to the black usb 2.0 ports and not the blue usb 3.0 ports at the back of the computer

msi board OP is using has both usb 2.0 & 3.0 ports - the usb 3.0 ports are for data storage devices only like usb flash drives
