Not having a uefi system, I stand corrected. Perhaps I should have said the lowest common denominator that should work on any machine, legacy bios or uefi, is: mbr, Fat32, Active, then copy all the files from the ISO.

It's worth noting that if you have ever used Rufus to make a gpt layout on a usb it cannot subsequently be used by the MCT to make a bootable usb. The Media Creation Tool fails with error code 0x80004005 - 0xA001A if the USB you give it has a gpt partition.
