How can I turn off a Touchscreen in Windows 10?

Here's something that actually came up...

I have an HP AIO on loan with a Touchscreen, running W10 Home.
Is there a way to turn the Touchscreen off via software?

IMO, a Touchscreen on a desktop is insanity.

    As usual, TIA! :)

Go into your System Configuration then you can turn it off in there. ( Just type System Configuration in your start "search"
Screenshot below.... After turning it off, reboot.

If the above method does not work, then try this method below.

    1. Press the Windows logo key + X.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click the little arrow next to Human Interface Devices to expand the list.
    4. Click the touch screen driver,
    5. Right-click, and select Disable from the list.

    Thanks!

Will these suggestions totally disable all Touchscreen input?
I mean tapping all across the LCD, lol?
