How do I manually uninstall Intel Computing Improvement Program?

    Hi all,

I use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to quickly check for Intel driver updates on my Ultrabook. I know I can dig for the drivers manually, but the tool makes it quick.

I need to update the version, but it keeps getting stuck on the step regarding the Intel Computing Improvement Program. I uninstalled previous DSA versions but this didn't get removed. It shows up in Apps & Features, but the uninstaller hangs too.

What does it actually install? How can I manually remove it?

Have you tried a third-party uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller? For a good overview of what's out there, see Tim Fisher's Lifewire story "17 Free Uninstaller Programs." Of the ones mentioned therein, I'll personally endorse Revo Uninstaller, Geek, Wise, and Ccleaner. That would be what I would try next. Let's see what else the community has to recommend...

I've been using Geek uninstaller for years now, it's really good.
And it's a portable: Geek Uninstaller - Download
