Swapped out drive, everything seemed fine as I moved data back onto the drive. Worked great for a few days and now back to same intermittent issues, videos pause randomly often times for several seconds, documents/pics sometimes take a while to load, etc. This all just seemed to have come up today for whatever reason, literally identical issue to what I had previously with old drive. Sata cable is not bent or twisted, my 1.5TB black works just fine with same files when I try them and my external 6TB has almost all the sames files/videos on it as the 6TB black and works just fine all the time through my router.

So what failed on the original drive ?

Did you run the WD Lifeguard diagnostic program from WD ?

This almost sounds like a SATA Controller issue - Check your MB MFG for drivers ?

    CrystalDisk worked fine, all passes.

The WD Lifeguard Diagnostic Program would force close a few seconds after starting it on this drive, worked on all other WD drives (both my 1.5TB black and WD external)

I have 4 total drives installed here, 3 of which are hooked up to the SATA controller. I have 0 issues with the other 2 drives that are hooked up to the SATA controller. Tons of files, programs, games, e etc on both others and never have one issue. Only with this particular drive (well now 2 particular drives).

I am so lost as to what the issue could be at this point. I'll check for drivers when I get home but would be shocked if that fixes it.
