    Sound Quality

I have been playing Fallout4 and noticed that a lot of what is audible is not on the speakers but easily heard on a BT Headset. So I presume its to do with frequency output. For example, my travelling companion, Piper, tells me 'something is out there' but I only hear it very faintly and not clear what she is saying, but clearly on headphones (psyc).

UK: can anyone recommend an inexpensive sound system for a pc that produces the sounds its darn well supposed to?

My current speakers are logitech 2200

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.

A $20 speaker? That is the problem. Not the driver.

Sorry I am late in replying. I had a look through sound packages available and bought a Creative Labs 2.1 system, the improvement is quite a mark up. It was about £55. I knew about enhancements, they are built into windows control panel/sound. Realtek sound drivers are always in use, and get updated via a driver update software and also Kasperky Total has a software updater.
