Mouse won't work in Safe Mode

I'm pretty sure my Windows 10 install is not the culprit. Neither is the specific hardware (since I've replaced the mouse with an identical replacement). So, I'm off to start my journey of discovery into the whys and wherefores of mouse interaction with USB and Safe Mode...and why a Logitech G502 (and MX518) won't work in Safe Mode.

- seems not so uncommon...have you tried the manufacturer's site?

Thanks for finding the similar issues.

This is odd... I tried a couple of attempts at deleting the mouse from device manager then rebooting, but that didn't fix the lack of Safe Mode mouse.
