    Have you checked for a BIOS update? Noted one reference where that was needed, though seemed surprising.

    Try Kyhi's boot disk. It seems for some reason Windows isn't seeing your hardware, although your PC seems to be supported with Win 10 drivers.

    @Helmut i have tried playing up with fn and f5 button but still no result.
    And whenever i install the driver and after it unzips to a temp folder after that nothing happens. I know it should ask to install then but strangely it doesn't.

    I am uploading a video of what is happening when i try to install the driver for all to see.

    Have a look at this:
    Fix: Cannot install Synaptics Touchpad Driver on Windows 10 - Appuals.com

    Note that you should expect basic touchpad features to work (MS driver) - if that's not there, and your hardware isn't visible to the OS, there's little chance the Synaptics software will install.

    It's surprising the attempt to install it did not give you an error message. There may be something in the event log, but I suspect it's hardly worth bothering to look for that.

    @Ryan1991,
    Could you check the driver version for HID-compliant mouse in Device manager, right click and select Properties, go to Driver tab and get the version and the date.
    Also try going to Settings, click Devices tile, click Touchpad and check whether it's switched on in the right pane.

    I have the same driver but mine is a Acer laptop, I would suggest you to contact Toshiba support site, they should be able to help you.

    Have you looked at the link in my #14?

    Are you using a notebook and you can not install Synaptics Touchpad driver, because your Synaptics Touchpad hardware component is not recognized by your touchpad driver? If yes, you should read this article, because there are potential solutions which will help you to solve the problem.

    @dalchina yes, i have gone through through that link and tried everything that is mentioned there but result is the still same.

    You know in my case When in my case synaptics drivers installs fine they don’t give any error. But they are not showing interest up in device manager or touchad is working either.
