I have a gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H which uses the via chipset for USB (VIA VL800 chip)
I have an error in system device for Usb xHCI Compliant host controller
I am just wondering what drivers I can use for this?
Also I didn't load any other drivers for my mobo - is this okay (I don't see any available for my motherboard)
Do I need to load any "non Microsoft" drivers i.e. intel

You could try these for USB: Via USB 3.0 Drivers Version 4.90a
Download, install using compatibility mode and reboot. Good Luck!

this fixed the Usb xHCI Compliant host controller Driver Error and now I have a Via USB 3 Root hub error... Any ideas?
Have you installed you motherboards chipset driver provided with instructions in the link about?
yes the windows 10 drivers were the intel files
its my via usb controller not working
anyone please help - it worked when I did a upgrade of windows 7 and worked in windows 7
I want to stick with windows 10 but I need those usb
If still having this problem turn off computer, remove card.
Turn on computer.
Install driver from here : http://www.rosewill.com/media/downlo...firmware_1.zip
Turn off computer.
Put card back in.
Turn on computer.
