I recommend DriverBooster, wouldn't want to live without it.
Free Version is fine but with paid Pro Version you can easily backup all your drivers, which helps perfectly to roll back to an older driver should there ever be an issue.

There is a clear conclusion. Do not use driver updaters.
The only circumstance in which I would suggest one is when a driver is missing and is not found by other means. I have found DriverMax helpful a couple of times in that exceptional case.

Long time ago I tried, I believe, DriverMax. "25 drivers were outdated" ! I started with updating 2 drivers, and immediately my system broke down. So, first advice is: donot use these apps. Second advice: when you want to use it, start with making an image (Macrium Reflect) to be able to recover.

Hi, it's important you understand the utter and complete difference between System Restore and Disk Imaging. Have you researched that at all?
System Restore deals ONLY with Windows things. Registry, system files, drivers, and program and update changes made relevant to a particular restore point. It does NOT protect your personal files. It does NOT protect the other partitions needed for Windows to function (4 for UEFI). It does NOT protect any other partitions. It IS unreliable. It IS turned off by default at every build upgrade.
It does NOT help you if your disk fails. Disk imaging does.
Disk imaging (normal version) creates compressed copies of the used space of the partitions or disks you select.
These are stored (or should be) offline.
Even if your PC is unbootable or fails you can use disk images to get you up and running one way or another.
System Restore cannot do that.
After a build upgrade, you have no restore points. They are and should be deleted. Your disk images remain.
We constantly urge people to use disk imaging routinely - images can be updated by 'incremental imaging' - an image representing the difference between the initial image and the current state.
It takes about 9-12 mins to 'update' a Windows image on SSD over USB3.
Disk images let you go back to a previous good state. They also act as a backup from which you can extract files and folders.
A fundamental difference in outcome between system restore and restoring a disk image: system restore will NOT change your data; restoring a disk image overwrites EVERYTHING on the partitions restored.
A good recommendation is NOT to keep personal data on C:

Protect yourself. Start using disk imaging. Other options: Aomei Backupper (easier to use), Easeus ... (forget Acronis).
