Windows 10: Sound loss after upgrade

    Sound loss after upgrade

I have a home built gaming pc running windows 10 32 bit and never had any issues, I decided to upgrade to 64 bit as it was compatible allowing me to insert more memory. On doing so I lost all USB usage and no sound. I rectified the USB issue but the sound is a no go. The pc states the best drivers are installed I only have motherboard built in sound with additional USB & Sound port installed on the front. I have done all the usual through device manager etc etc and windows update says no more updates available at present. I have even checked the BIOS settings.

Does any one have a clue )Cheers Tim)

    Hello and welcome to TenForums,

I would try installing the Win 7 64bit audio driver provided by the MB manufacturer and see if this will work.
