I don't see why it wouldn't work. BUT, you should contact your Amazon seller and ask about return policies. It may be safer just to send it back and order something else, IF the return policy is that you can't return the mobo after it's been opened and tried out. If you can still return it, then if it doesn't work for you, that's what you should do. But if it doesn't work and you can't return it, you'll have to eat the expense involved, and you don't want that, do you?

I guess but understand it is not designed as such.

Notice no integrated sound, it supports old VGA connector, I don't see any front headers like headphones, Mic.

It supports very few USB devices, no modern C port.

The BIOS is likely to be straight forward without all the things you would see on desktop.

That said you can connect four lan cables to it.

If it were me I would cancel asap.

    Amazon Prime
It's back in the shipping box and will go back tomorrow.
Didn't look that close at it, saw Asus which is my old board.
Thanks for getting to me before I started to unpack it.
Will look more closely tonight and will have it Sunday.

I should have looked further. Nowhere in the Amazon did it say server. Was very obvious on the box, however
