Possibility of changing mic input volume to one channel?
Hello everyone, I use an XLR mic and pre-amp setup and while it is very nice and sounds very good, I've been having issues when it comes to using any VOIP program. I already know why this is happening but as of recent I found out the the drivers that go with my motherboard (Realtek of some sort) have an issue where, under high CPU load, the computer will occasionally at random times hitch and cause the audio to buzz while the hitch is occurring. I was able to deduce that it was the audio drivers by basically doing a bunch of Googling and finding out that switching to windows default audio drivers solves the issue, and I have confirmed that this is the case. While I wouldn't mind using the default windows audio drivers the main problem I am running into is that with the motherboard-based audio drivers i was able to adjust my mics input volume to a singular channel inside of a bundled software package that goes with the Realtek drivers. The reason i need to do this is because i have to process the mic input through Voicemeeter as a single channel to output it as a mono signal in order for VOIP programs (Discord, Twitch, Skype etc.) to pick up the mic at all. I haven't been able to find the setting in Windows (if there even is one) or a piece of software that is able to do it. I can provide additional info on stuff if you need it. Thanks in advance!
