Device manager: nonexistent entry "Non Plug-and-Play Drivers"

    Hello community,
my device manager lacks the entry "Non Plug-and-Play Drivers" when I display hidden devices. I'm using Windows 10 1709.
I'm trying to find "Beep" in order to activate the mainboard speaker. The speaker works when the system starts.

    Any clue?

    Thanks,
    Steinspecht

    Hi Steinspecht.

This article will explain why you can't really use the MB speaker header as a Speaker.

thanks. Thing is, I don't want to play music, but issue some beeps at the end of a batch file.
Would be great if someone could address my initial question as it is...

    Thx in advance,

This article maybe of use if this is the Beep you referenced.

Hopefully another member will have the answer you require. Good luck.

good stuff, thanks! What a beep can set loose... The little util at BÜROTECHNIK WALDBAUER Wien | Willkommen mentioned in the thread works fine, uses the soundcard.
    So I give up.
