    Definitely can hear it. Crackle, static, speaker rip (I know you don't have speaker but sounds like.)

    Sorry, does this happen from both the front headphone jack and the rear jack.

    What do you the audio set to 2, 2.1, 5.1, etc.

    Are you running or is realtec running any kind of equalizer?

    Did you try with clean boot?

    Do you hear these sound when your not playing a game or music.
    No, if no audio is playing I don't hear anything, it's dead quiet with no background white noise or anything.

    My reason for asking is you might be picking up something from some sort of appliance close by.
    In my first few posts I mentioned I moved three times and currently I am in a room far from any appliance. I have had these issues over three locations and multiple PC builds. I plugged out all my case fans and LEDs and that didn't help.

    To isolate the problem, plug in some speakers and test to see if the noise is still there. I know you state you don't have any speakers.
    Surly some one you know has some speakers you could try.
    Have you tried more than one jack to plug your ear phone into?
    Is your wall outlet a 3 prong outlet? It could be a grounding problem that is inside or outside your computer.
    Are you using a surge protector or is your system plugged directly into the wall socket? Sorry I don't know the electrical code for your country.
    No surge protector yet, it goes directly into the wall and yes it's 3 pronged. I have tried every available audio jack on my PC, my top audio jack seems to be a bit screwy however - lots of static and constant noise without any audio playing.... removed the connector to my motherboard so it's dead and not operational anymore. I thought it could be causing the issue but my USB device and onboard audio still has the same issues playing audio. I can't get speakers still, everyone I know just uses headphones and others I know don't even use PC's anymore.

    A tool that MAY help is the free Resplendence Latency Mon program. It has helped many with audio problems. http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
    Alright..... ran it for 11 minutes while I was AFK and it says I can handle real-time audio and tasks. ran it again for a bit while doing random tasks and it said I had issues (power managmentment, CPU throttling, BIOS to fix) I am guessing this is normal? I have read LatencyMon is quite sensitive and just loading a web page while it runs can cause spikes. If I am wrong I'll dive deeper into it.

    I have tested the top audio jack and I still had the same problem, I have since unplugged that port from my motherboard completely because it had a lot of interference, lots of constant static and noise without audio even on.

    What do you the audio set to 2, 2.1, 5.1, etc.
    I have it currently on default 2 channel stereo, but I have tested all the settings available on top of the different bit and hz settings.

    None that I know of.. I have tried every setting within the audio driver along with bit rates. Again, it's not just with Realtek installed, it seems to be a bit worse with Realtek drivers installed, but it also affects the standard MS audio drivers and my USB Audio Device which is it's own portable soundcard.

    Yeah, no luck. When I built this PC I bought a new HDD, install Windows 7 on it and instantly noticed issues still from my old build, upgraded to Windows 10 shortly after and still had the problems, reformatted the drive and started again on Windows 7 with the same issues. It's got to be my PSU or the wiring considering it's the only thing I have left over from my old PC, that or these older AMD (or even older ASRock mobos) products have some massive compatibility issues with Windows.

    Well we discussed PSU and you pointed out that your brother has this issue as well and I'm pretty sure you said he had a different PSU.

    Something is really off if the front port is picking up static. Are you and your brother using the same case? and is this a tightly packed case?

    I think we are getting to the point where only one thing is common, the Motherboard. (Of course I think you said you've had two different builds so maybe not)

    If you google your MB and static there should be thousands of hits if this is a production issue.

    We most definitely own the same case lol which are Antec mid-tower gaming cases https://www.amazon.com/Antec-Nine-Hu.../dp/B000I5JHB0 I am fairly certain he had a lot of interference on his top port as well. I also ain't gonna lie.. the cord situation is a bit of a mess in my case, and from what I remember his too. The main HDD (Windows) is at the very bottom of my case and about 5 or so inches across from the PSU along with a dozen or so wires almost touching the HDD from the PSU.... this actually sounds pretty terrible and stupid and I should probably move things around to make sure that isn't the cause.

    I had HD Audio connected last from my top audio jacks to my motherboard, I will try the AC'97 input as well and see if the older audio codec does anything. I know it's older tech but worth a shot?

    Well it was at least worth a shot. My wiring is a bit more tidy now.

    I decided to run LatencyMon for around 20 minutes while performing some light tasks (web surfing and listening to the odd song in WMP), figured I throw out some images and logs of the test in hopes there is something nasty in here for the pros to spot. Just to note: I know it says Windows 7 service pack 1, I have had this issue on both 7 and 10 (fully updated), I am just trying to figure it out so I have been going back and forth between the two OS quite a lot lately.

    I'm not sure what this means.

    CPU throttling, BIOS to fix

    Is your CPU throttling? If so, have you checked your temps?
    Also, if your GPU is throttling temps could be a problem.
    Both CPU and GPU temps could cause the fan speeds to change. This might create the noise. It will depend a lot on the quality of your fans.

    I did read that you move a few times. Not knowing what you took with you on your moves like a desk lamp, fan, heater ect. was the reason I asked. With that many moves I doubt if your problem is a wall socket.

    Now I'm going way out on the limb.
    Remove your internet modem connection to the computer and test.
    Remove all usb items and other external connected items except the power supply cable and head phones and test.
    If by chance things are good, plug things back in one at a time and test.

    **Fireberd will have to evaluate your post #16. All that means nothing to me.

    Sorry for the confusion, I was typing out what LatencyMon always states when the program is showing problems, it asks you to disable CPU throttling in control panel or BIOs settings, I was just short terming the message basically in a confusing way :/ Sorry 'bout that! MY PC temps are pretty good across the board.

    I will disconnecting everything tomorrow including the internet and give that a shot.

    This is a "stock" statement. Don't put much in that. It comes up anytime it detects problems, regardless of what it is. I'm pushed for time right now. I'll try to analyze it later and get back.

    I would shut off any over clocks and I would load the BIOS defaults. Think you might have done that already but just to be sure.
