"PCI standard host CPU bridge" and "PCI-to-PCI Bridge" are the generic devices names that are built-in to Windows (in machine.inf and pci.inf, respectively).
Do you mean the names will be changed when I have installed the software in this thread?

Is it correct to say the following?

Although my PC has no Xeon processor, the controllers below do exist on my Pentium G3240, a 4th Gen processor.

    1. Intel (R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor DRAM Controller.
    2. Intel (R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller.

Yes, my Core i7 also says "Xeon." This is just a side effect of all the Intel processors in the same family using the same device IDs for the host bridge.

Windows 10 should find new drivers through the update mechanism, which doesnt work always though. And if you go into device manager and click on a device and do a look for new drivers, it always finds new ones with a high chance. But it' just stupid...
