    USB flash drive problem

I purchased a flash drive to use as ReadyBoost, and I had it set and know it was working. I removed and when I plugged it back in, went to Properties/ReadyBoost tab it shows the error message attached. The hub I an using is 2.0 so I don't know what this means.USB flash drive problem-ready-boost.jpg

Hmmmmmmm, couple of questions. Have you tried it in another USB port? Same results? Have you checked your USB drivers? What exactly do you mean by "I had it set"? And lastly, did you reboot?

I mean that I followed the instructions (which I don't remember now) to activate the ReadyBoost. I have one on my laptop too and when I checked it, apparently you just click the ReadyBoost tab and select "dedicate to ReadyBoost."

.... later .... I just went to my other computer and restarted again and this time the ReadyBoost is working.

    Thanks for responding!
