Problems with USB audio and video devices

    Hi,
installed Windows 10 on my new system (my first Win 10 install). So far so good, but having issues with UBS audio and video devices. More specifically,
    - my Trust webcam (with integrated microphone) does not work: it is recognised by the system, but neither webcam nor mic work. No error messages and drivers appear up to date.
    - mic of my USB ISY headset also does not work, although I have sound in coming from the headphones. Brought another headset by Logitech (for which compatibility with Win 10 is clearly stated), but same result: have sound but mic does not work.

All devices work under Windows 10. I have googled around and tried all the obvious things, like checking sound setting and driver status. Before adventuring with more advanced "fixes" proposed on internet, though of stopping by and asking on this forum. Any tips /suggestions how to fix or at least diagnose the issue.

    Thanks!

Hi vic76. Welcome to the TenForums @vic76

Have you looked at the Realtek Sound manager. Usually their is an icon is systray. Pretty sure sound issues start there.

Not sure why webcam video doesn't work, maybe in some strange manner Realtek is misidentifying it.

Thanks, Ken. Will have a look in Realtek.
