Yeah... But then update app does not work correctly now, does it?
So there were (are) two issues here really:
1. Duff metadata pointing out to some ghost update files - as per my earlier post (#110)
NB: there are now more files available under ~/Temp/lu/ folder:
But all of them still contain the following:
HTTP 404 - File Not Found
2. Lack of correct update notification related to availability of v.6.70.55 that was released in the last 24-48 hours - at least I've not got any and only realised there's a newer version available when I started creating ticket with Logitech and though it prudent to check directly on their web page...

Firmware Update Tool – Logitech Support + Download
fails the first time as well, then it succeeds, at least, it says so.
But when ran again, it still finds an update and wants to update.
Logitech is going nuts............
Well, very much indeed - and as I just commenced my adventure with their Support Staff, please let your prayers and thoughts be with me (for as long as I can remain sane...).
I won't post a list of similar issues and problems between Logitech and Windows 10, so I am going to ask if anyone knows of no-name brands of keyboard and mice. My preference is the simple basic keyboard like the K270 and a simple basic mouse.
I owned numerous models of higher end Logitech keyboards and mice. But, I settled on the K270 because they lasted the longest, (owned 6+ over the years) - being a poor typist and hard on keyboards.
