Web cam - keep getting incessant Camera connected notifications

    Hi folks

any way to disable webcam connection notifications -- this seems to happen an amazingly large number of times -- Is there any method to supress the messages -- I really only need messages to tell me is something ISN'T working !!!! or is Windows so amazed that something WORKS so it has to tell you !!!!.

    (W10 PRO X-64 latest version + updates)

    Cheers

    Hi there

Laptop is fine --it's the external USB webcam / mike that I've installed on a Desktop computer -- works 100% correctly but whenever I start a skype video call message pops up. I've got skype in background so I don't logout of it - and it starts automatically when I boot into Windows.

    Cheers
