Well been two weeks now and I haven't noticed any catastrophes yet. Should I just leave it alone?

I'm on a M4 256GB that I've never bothered to upgrade the firmware from version 040H to version 070H. May get around to doing it one day but figured if I wasn't having any problems......

I have 070H on mine with no issues , though I think this issue was mainly with the MX line of drives

Same issue here. MX300 + HW Encryption = TCG issue. System is running fine though and re-installing it would take too much time.

I actually managed to fix my issue awhile back. Turns out all I needed to download was Intel Rapid Storage Technology. It was from my mother board manufacture website.

you are probably running your system on software encryption, because Intel Rapid Stor. Driver kills hardware encryption capability on my system. I tried many configurations, so Intel's driver works only with software enc. with my MX300
