    1) This is an automatic log collector that we use in another forum.
It will automatically collect the logs to the desktop.
Then zip the folder and post into the thread for troubleshooting.
It will collect: msifo32, dxdiag, drivers, bsod mini dumps, hosts, install, uninstall, services, startup, event viewer files, etc.

    2) Backup all files to another drive or to the cloud
    3) Make a backup image using Macrium:
Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free
    4) Save the backup image to another drive or to the cloud
    5) Make a brand new restore point

it's an old 775 Socket motherboard , so make sure you have the Drivers for the Correct Revision of the Motherboard as there are at least 4 versions.....

I would try the Windows 7 x64 Drivers since Win8 and Win10 has no downloads. (assuming Win10 is 64bit of course?)

I would turn Driver updates from Windows Update off too if everything is work after a reinstall of Win10, use this tutorial and the .reg files for that.

I've been trying to do what you said.

I reinstalled the system again and installed the driver ... continued the same problem, after removing my wireless keyboard and uninstalling its driver and rebooting the computer ... did not give the problem anymore. It's been 2 days since that boring message no longer appears. I will wait another 2 days, if you do not present any more problems ... I will give as solved the topic!

I tried it several times and it was good for a few days then the problem would appear again, another day it would not appear ... it appeared there every day. I uninstalled it and it did not appear any more, I will leave it and thanks to all who helped me with this problem!

I apologize for not reading the thread in it's entirety, but wanted to add my system specs, stats, etc. to the troubleshooting pile. I took notice of the suggestion to update his BIOS or motherboard firmware, and while my motherboard isn't extremely old, I am going to follow that advice because I'm willing to bet there is an update ... likely for both my motherboard and BIOS.

Since this seems to be somewhat ongoing - potentially a recurring issue - I'll try to post back any info I'm able to find using some deep digging tools. My system specs are up-to-date and accurate and the USB drive malfunctioning on my system, surprisingly as I have about 4 more just like it... is a SansDisk Cruze Glide 64GB.

Honestly, my nerd sense tells me it's just got a bad circuit, bus line, whatever... perhaps formatted one too many times. I've had a good handful of these just "kapoot" on me - worse than this one is doing now, as a matter of fact - system wouldn't even acknowledge it was there at all or show it's capacity as 0 MB.

If I find any promising information, I'll be sure to post back!

    Hi,

Regarding those USB devices malfunctioning, I have a handful of the Scandisk USB drives and never found anything with them.
However what I do experience occasionally is 10 or W11 not recognizing them correctly.
Ejecting and then reinserting them often solves the problem.

    Cheers,
