    Hi,

That's a Intel USB controller. What does it say under the driver tab in device manager ?

    Cheers,
    No more information

    Hi,

It appears there is no driver installed for that USB controller.
You'll need Intel's chipset drivers version 9.1.1 or thereabouts for Intel 82101G controler.

I just checked the driver version of a Dell from the same era and W10 has installed its native driver which works fine for me.
You could try to install it manually in Device Manager by browsing to:

    C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbport.inf_amd64_91de451ed92f4ad1

    Hi,

That's odd but try installing the drivers from Intel then (they support W8.1 32 bit) with the "-overall" parameter (without parenthesis)
    and restart the machine.
Always make sure you have a backup first.

    Cheers,
Prior to installing the Intel (R) 82801G automatically installed this USB Composite Device. But... if I install it will be giving error and all the time the USB notification Device Note recognized.

From your last screen shot it looks your Intel 82801G installed correctly. Circled in green.

    Attachment 170451

The device Code 45 says the hardware is not connected. Have you reconnected your USB devices?

I'm with Mouse and USB keyboards connected, plugged my external hard drive and flash drive too, until I rebooted with the connected devices to see if it gave any error.

    Hi,

So it seems as if the device that's not recognized might be the culprit then. At least now you have the USB driver correctly installed. Does disconnecting the device and then reconnecting it make any difference ?

I just took the test here, disconnected all the devices and rebooted, no problem. But... I turned off the front USB, I will turn them on and see if they cause the problem.

I recently had an issue with USB too and had a similar error with a USB3 HUB , to get it recognized I had to

    1. access device manager,
    2. select View > "show hidden devices"
    3. Open USB Serial Bus Controllers.......................and see if you can find any old inactive devices (greyed-out).
    4. Once found, delete them all, one by one and reboot,
    5. plug your updated device back in and see if it is now properly recognized

Then disable Driver Updates from M$ as I mentioned earlier so Win10 doesn't OverWrite anything.

Even the device is unknown, nor does any name appear to be able to identify the device.

You don't need to identify it , just un-hid everything and delete/uninstall ALL greyed out or items with the yellow triangle, then on reboot, Windows will reinstall anything it needs again. I had to do this several times with a BAD USB HUB due to a firmware issue.

May not help you of course, but seems to work for devices with bad device descriptors and a "failed migration"
