    Cannot download "Reaktek - v7565"

Apparently there's a super-latest update to Realtek, "v7565" thats from the Microsoft Catalog. I download the files, but I don't know how to manually update Realtek itself.

Where I find some .exe's in the folder, I click it to run and it won't run. I can't update to the latest Realtek. Because of this, my "Sound Effects" tab is also gone from the audio manager, so now it sounds like my audio is coming from a box. All of my drivers are updated and nothing is detecting any other updates...

    Please, I need assistance.

paperjelly, what kind of computer are you using (name & model number)?

The 6.0.1.7565 Realtek audio driver has to be installed thru Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) from the Sound, video and game controllers section. See this Microsoft thread on how to choose the proper INF file in Device Manager to install the Realtek audio driver. And you have to restart the computer after installing the new audio driver for it to take effect. You need to extract all the files inside the CAB file package (using either Windows Explorer or any file archiving tool like 7zip, Peazip, WinRAR or Winzip) before choosing the INF file to install the driver.

    CyberpowerPC - Windows 10.

I finally got it to v7565, but I still can't find "Speaker Fill", as it's absolutely missing, and my "Enhancements/Sound Effects" tabs are STILL missing. The only viable option is Stereo, which isn't good.

There's also "Dolby", which only has options for On or Off... so useless. No idea what this is. Some people had to "unlock Dolby", but I also have no idea on how to do this.

Thanks for that Windows 10 (or 8?) serial key. *sarcasm*
You should remove that from your post.
