I don't use any apps at all.
I may do in the future, but for now there's no 'tile' that needs my attention.
I've deleted and/or uninstalled the lot... or as many as Microsoft will allow!

I use 'apps' on my tablet.
I use 'programs' on my PC.
In many cases an App is a program and a program is an App.. oh and keep in mind when an other upgrade comes down you'll have to uninstall all of the apps that you removed.

The way I see it is, Apps are slangtastic.
They used to be small dinky little programs, like on a phone, but are now just as big and powerfull as older programs.
Eventually there won't be any difference, and language is always evolving,
so I think we are stuck with Apps for at least another ten years,
before another slang word is formed.
