    Sign-On/Off sounds do not work.

I have edited the registry so that they show up in the sound schemes now and they have their own files that play when you click play but it doesn't play the sounds. Nor does it play the startup or shutdown sound.

I heard you need to disable fast boot. Well I went to where it used to be and...

It's gone. How do I officially disable this Fast Boot stuff now? I want my log on/off shutdown and startup sounds.

    Hello RECONBunny,

I'm afraid that the log in/out sounds no longer work in Windows 10 even if their settings are manually added back to the Sound UI.

If you like, you may be able to create a task in Task Scheduler to play a sound (wav) file at logon and/or logout as a workaround though.

This crap right here is why I dual-boot Windows 7 and more and more people begin to dislike Windows 10. Thank you for the information.
