That is great work and I would definitely use it as it is new technology, can't stay with Dos forever.
    Thanks very much Josey! :)

YouTube is an excellent learning resource.
It sure is Keith. The designer of the PS Actions I purchased them from does great YouTube Tutorials for each of his actions, but how to mask correctly is somewhat overlooked.

One way around the size lumitation, which is there for a good reason, is to use a png or jpg as a thumbnail image and provide a link to the gif stored on a dedicated free image site
Thanks Barman! I'll have to look into that. Is 'Dropbox' a program I can use for that? I just downloaded it a couple of days ago, but I haven't used it yet. :)

Please notice: the opinion told in this post is just that, a subjective personal opinion of one individual member. Nothing more, nothing less.

You obviously have great talent, your wallpapers look astonishing as long as I do not click them, as long as they remain static.

That being said, I just can't understand why anyone would want to use an animated wallpaper in Windows? It's extremely disturbing already to see that pulsing effect on your avatar and sig every time there's a new post or reply from you, in fact to such extent that I have seriously thought about adding you to my ignore list simply to not to have to see them.

The thought that I would voluntarily expose myself to that pulsing effect on big screen display as Windows wallpaper day in day out, always I'm using PC is just impossible.

I remind you that I really like those wallpapers you've done, nothing wrong in them as long as I remember to never click them thus avoiding the effect. You are quite an artist, my opinion presented in this post is not to undermine your artistic talent which I hold in high regard.

A short version: Animated wallpapers are a big NO for me, I wouldn't be surprised if some other users think the same.

    Hi Kari

Thanks very much for the feedback. I do apologise that the animated effects do cause you some issues. You do make some good points and I will take them all on board. It might be better if I create a Photoshop Animation thread instead of posting them here in @Borg386 's thread. Kind Regards, Neil :)

I appreciate the way you took my feedback. Please put your sig back, you don't have to remove it because of a grumpy old man!

Once again Kari, thank you for your suggestions. I did feel my avatar and signature were flashing too fast, but I just learnt how to slow them down to the minimum speed of 25% so hopefully they won't be so hard on the eyes. And by the way, you're not grumpy, just honest and I appreciate it. :)

I have to agree with you, Kari. I'm pretty sure you know that my husband has had epileptic seizures, although they're "controlled" for now. My reasoning is not a a "personal preference", but a fact of life for those (not just my husband) affected. What most people don't know or understand is that "the pulsing effect on his avatar and sig every time he posts" can and will bring on seizures to those vulnerable.

Like you, I'm trying to be nice about it and have said very little, but the fact remains, that if my husband should come into my computer room while one of those full blown pulsating things is going off (I shut 'em down as quickly as I can because they give me a headache), it could bring on a seizure if he should watch it. Like the old dance hall strobe lights, anything pulsating fast enough . . .
