    Hard drive icons spacing too wide


    how do i fix this?

    Windows 10 Pro x64 build 16278

    Hello Win10Newb, :)

    Turning off selecting items with check boxes will return the icons to normal size.

    Turn On or Off Select Items using Check Boxes in Windows 10 Windows 10 Customization Tutorials

    Admin, i've tried that but didnt worked.

    its only like that if the view is on Tiles and Content, the others are normal.

    It should look like this with check boxes turned off. Is this what you're seeing now?

    yeah, its like that. so its normal? its annoying. :P

    wish there could be some tweaks.

    Yep, that's normal for "Tiles" view.

    Odd. That's not how it looks on any of my systems (15063.540). Note that there is no icon-width 'whitespace' to the left of the disk icon and that the tick-box is superimposed top left on the icon, not separately off to the left as in the OPs screenshot. Is this a new 'feature' of build 16278 then?
