Logon and Logoff sounds not working.

I've already done the registry changes to make these events show in the sounds / sounds window.

I've assigned the custom sounds to them I've been using in W7 for years and the sounds play when it click the "test" button but, the sounds do not play when I actually logoff or logon

Help!

PS I also use a sound from my Bloodrayne set for "Empty Recycle Bin" and it works fine.

These functions appear to have been deprecated by MS. (Hence they need reg hacks to reinstate the GUI).
Some suggest that if you have fast startup on, you will not get a log on sound, but that isn't valid for me - I have hibernation disabled.

You could, of course, arrange to play a sound on logon using the task scheduler.

Like shut down, if you try to do that on log off, there simply may not be time, and the sound is either not played or curtailed.
