Stop System Volume Information on USB Memory Stick?

Hello ALL:
I keep seeing "solutions" to not having my system...64 Bit Win 10 PRO...create a System Volume Information Folder. I only want to do this on USB Memory Sticks so that when I use them in our cars the folder is not there. It keeps adding it whenever I format the USB stick, or add files. Some software, like our car Navigation updates ONLY want the update on the USB Stick and NOTHING else.

So is there a good way to do this without messing up anything else?

I remember a long time ago I figured how to fix that.... when we all had Windows XP. Now I find it impossible for Windows to resist the temptation of creating a System Volume Information folder for any drive. Even my old-skool Video iPod has that folder in it. It's such a completely useless folder for drives that don't have System Restore enabled on them. YET it would be nice to see where the solution is to disable System Volume Information on drives that don't need it.

Yes, there has to be a way. I hope someone here has figured it out. A Google Search has some suggestions but then others say to not try it!
