How to adjust jump lists in Win10 enterprise?

Sorry for the confusion Robert. I should have been more explicit. The regedit fix I implemented only turned on the jump lists (I had no jumplists). It didn't fix the limit.
I added the DWORD to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Word\Advanced rather than HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced. This seemed to trigger ALL the jump lists and not just the WORD one as I was expecting.
Makes you wonder why coders made such an arbitrary decision? "Oh I know, why don't I just change something that everyone was perfectly happy with and do it my way - no need for consultation."

Agreed...and no worries about the confusion--I'm confused a lot of the time, anyway. :) I'm pretty disappointed with the way Windows 10 doesn't allow us to change the number of items in jump lists the way 7 did. Hoping maybe it gets fixed at some point. :)

Here's the fix for Windows 10:

1) Run Regedit
2) Drill down to HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
3) Create a new DWORD entry named JumpListItems_Maximum
4) Set the (decimal) value of JumpListItems_Maximum to 20
5) No need to restart - works immediately
