    Windows Spotlight

    Running 10.0.14393.
    Ever since I upgraded to win 10 last year, when I turn on my PC ( Not sure what you call it, but I would call it a splash screen) I always got the same picture. I am talking about the screen that presents before you have to hit any key to get to password entry screen.
    Like this;

    Attachment 133011

    Now I turn on PC, and I get different picture? I have not changed any settings?

    The only setting that seems relevant is in Personalisation > Lockscreen. FWIW I have mine as 'Background = Windows Spotlight'.

    Can you guys enlighten me? Has something changed?

    Hello

    Take a look here Configure Windows Spotlight on the lock screen (Windows 10) | Microsoft Docs

    Windows Spotlight is a feature included by default in Windows 10 that downloads pictures and advertisements automatically from Bing and displays them when the lock screen is being shown on a computer running Windows 10. Users are occasionally given an opportunity to mark whether they wish to see more or fewer images of a similar type, and sometimes the images are overlaid with links to advertisements.

    Click on a link on the lock screen and you get to the sign in screen as normal. Once signed in, Edge launches and displays the results of the link you clicked. Mostly this is further information about the picture you saw on the lock screen, sometimes it's advertising content.

    The exception is the 'do you like what you see?' link, which trains Spotlight to only show the sort of pictures you 'd like.
