A recommendation, check spacing and letter case(happens to me a lot) or Edwin C&P the reg entry and post it.

It doesn't work for me in 64-bit Windows 10 Pro build 10162. Is it still working for you?
@Brink I am running a clean install of Windows 10 Pro build 10162 and all Apps listed in Edwin's post below are using the dark theme. I did not try to enable the Dark Theme when I first upgraded from 10159 though.

I think Win + P is affected as well as Calculator, Alarms, Voice Recorder, some bits of Maps and some others I don't recall at the moment.

For me, everything uses the dark theme by default except Settings. Odd.

That is odd. I applied it and it works for me. I wish File Explorer would use the Dark Theme too

Edit, did another clean install, now it doesn't work

Edit again, I had a 64bit instead of 32 bit dword, it works again

Yes. Works for me and it also makes the store dark too!

Doesn't work for me on a clean 10162 x64 install.

I don't know why it wouldn't. Are you following the directions precisely? It works on my Surface Pro 3 and pc.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I followed the directions even double checked. Same goes for 10166. Wish MS would just give us the option.

*edit* tried once more and got it working. AppsUseLightTheme set to 0 though I swear I did do that in build 10162 and it didn't work. But it's working now. Too bad we can't get file explorer dark. They need to update it to a modern ui.
