I just created a custom start menu icon for media monkey!
Nice! And I see Gimp in action in the background.

I'm using this manual method fine.
In case you need a tool to create tiles check this thread:
    Oblytile alternative? - Page 8 - Windows 10 Forums
Maybe @Edwin can shed more light on that tiler app (can it pin shortcuts?).
What type of file is it?

Trying to pin a custom Hyper-V VM launch via shortcut:

Shortcut must be a LNK type I guess.

I would say 'Cut' the shortcut and 'Paste' it in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
I don't think there is a way to create a 3rd party custom tile, though.

    Thanks for checking!
Placing it in 'Programs' will make it appear as a regular shortcut as well.
So the tiler doesn't accept shortcuts.

But for regular programs I see you had large tiles added. :)

I've already done that Edwin but if you see my screenshots, the icon picture is small. We were looking for a way to make the icon tile picture larger.

Is there a way to copy the actual executable path of the launcher?
